The next member who became centre of attraction is Andrew. I simply fell in love with Andrew as he has got a good sense of humor. I was just unable to resist my laughter when he told all the members in spoof that he was a professional UFC cage fighter, former skydiving teacher, photography major and singer. Oh God! He has not thrown cold water on them that when they should take him seriously. He is such a guy that you would love to hate but secretly you would love him.
The cast’s has first had their dinner which unexpectedly led to a discussion of religion and sexuality. However, gradually the discussion had turned into an argument that proceeded over differences in views on those topics. At last, Josh has popped off some infatuation for Erika.

Hey friends! MTV’s The Real World has just started airing its twenty-second season and the show is already making headlines. But, before you jump to any conclusions, let me inform you that the show is in news not due to the current season but because of its next season which is yet to be filmed. Yes guys, even before the shooting for the 23rd season of the show started, it has created a controversy of sorts related to the venue of the upcoming season.
It seems that the residents of Washington D.C. are not exactly excited about The Real World coming to D.C. for the next season. This was revealed, when only days after D.C. was officially announced as the venue of the next season, people started coming up with mostly negative reactions in response to the news. Reportedly the residents were pissed off upon learning that no less than four to six valued metered parking spaces were to be reserved for use by The Real World crew. In addition, the police officers were getting ready to receive training about noise dosimeter so as make them ready for likely violations.
People have started The Anti-Real World DC blog to express their anguish about the show being shot in the city. One of the writers of the blog even went on to write that Washington, D.C being the most powerful city of the West, didn’t need MTV’s exposure. According to him, he was not ready for the unnecessary changes as MTV was not even in the tiniest way as important as the International Olympic Committee, in which case he could make some adjustments.
To counter the creation of The Anti-Real World DC blog, a Pro Real World DC blog has also been created and it is rumored that the writer for this blog is a ringer for either MTV or Bunin-Murray, the producers of the show. However, the writer of the blog, who has not revealed his identity, has piquantly denied any association with either Bunin-Murray or MTV.
On April 1, “The Real World” aired its season finale. Season filled with whole lot of fun, excitement and anticipation moving around the life of eight contestants came to an end. “The Real World” is the longest running reality show on television today.
Being a part of the reality show must have been a life changing experience for the contestants. But then there is no need to lose heart as the next season of the series starts airing on April 8 at 10:00PM on ET/PT. “The Real World / Road Rules Challenges: The Duel II” begins it journey with 26 contestants, who will ultimately fight it out for a cash prize of $300,000.
This season will have challenges that The Real World contestants have not faced till date. This season will have cliff jumps, canyon swings, bungee drops and mountain backdrops for the contestants and some of the other things that make the game all the more interesting.

Hey people! If you have not been watching MTV’s reality show The Real World since long, then this piece of news might not interest you. The beautiful and adorable youngster Frankie Abernathy, who appeared as a housemate in the fourteenth season of the series housed in San Diego, that was aired from January to June in 2004, has passed on to the next world at the young age of 25.
The youngster, who hailed from Kansas City, was the elder daughter of Abbie Hunter and Joe Abernathy and the elder sister of Mamie. She had been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a chronic lung disease that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive tract, at the age of 3. Well known in the show for her love for punk rock music and Hello Kitty, she believed in living each day of life to the fullest as she thought that the next day might never come.
She was forced to leave the show before the end of the season, due to her conflicts with her roommates and the strain she was going through as a result of her separation from her current boyfriend.
Although many people have come and gone, across many seasons of The Real World, very few leave an impression in your heart. For me, Abernathy has been one of those selected few. Even though she knew of her terminal illness, she never once came across as a girl who was seeking pity. She helped to further the cause and raise national awareness about the cutting epidemic. She made a difference by emotionally touching a lot of people and making an impact on many people’s lives. Even though she has left this world, she will live in the hearts of people who loved her and came to know her through The Real World series. I am sure her parents would be proud of her as she did not let her ailment become a roadblock in her life, but she learned and grew from her experiences. Our hearts go out to her grieving family as we can only pray for her soul to rest in peace.
Hey people! Even as the 21st Season of MTV’s top rated show, The Real World has just started airing; the production team is already going ahead with the plan of the 22nd Season. And to start with, the location for the next season has already been announced. Well, the 22nd season will move the show cross borders down south, into the fascinating locales of Mexico.
